Penelope Cruz has continued to keep a low profile since her recent confirmation she was pregnant.

The Oscar-winner, who revealed two weeks ago she and husband Javier Bardem were set to welcome their first child together, was seen at London’s Heathrow airport with her sister Monica.

Since the announcement, the newlywed couple, have spent time in Paris, with Bardem continuing to promote his new flick Eat Pray Love.

The actress had been in the UK to continue working on Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides alongside co-star Johnny Depp.

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is happy getting old and says she would never “lie” about her age. “I never want to lie about my age. If I look around at the actresses I admire, they are all women who have not fought growing older, but embraced it – women like Sophia Loren or Audrey Hepburn,” she said.

The actress doesn’t want to give into the pressure in Hollywood of having surgery to stay looking young and is inspired by her grandparents’ attitude to old age, reports contactmusic.com.

“I was very close to both of my grandmothers growing up – they lived long into old age and they were always beautiful to me. They loved life and it showed in their faces. Of course my face will change as I get older, but that’s OK.

“It’s a good thing to be old, because that means you haven’t died yet right? And when I do get older, I want to have the grace to be proud of it, not to lie about it or try to fight it,” she added.

Zac Efron has reportedly revealed that he is attracted to Eva Mendes and Penelope Cruz.

The actor, who has been in a relationship with Vanessa Hudgens for four years, admitted that he finds both Mendes and Cruz very striking.

He told OK: “My celebrity crush is Eva Mendes. I think she is gorgeous and she’s got a great personality.

“I also got really starstruck seeing Penelope Cruz at the Academy Awards. She was walking around barefoot and I thought, ‘God, you’re beautiful!’”

Efron also said that he likes to please his fans.

He explained: “I see the looks on the faces of some of these girls and I hope I’m not disappointing them, and I’m very proud they look at me in that way.

“I just try to put myself in their shoes and understand that feeling.”

No surprise there. But as soon as the news hit last night that the Oscar-winners got secretly hitched earlier this month, a celebrity tabloid quickly announced that Ms. Cruz was expecting.

However, her rep tells us she is not pregnant.

Cruz is currently shooting the action-packed, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

“It’s not exactly the kind of movie you want to be doing if you’re pregnant,” a source said. The Spanish stunner joins the Johnny Depp Pirates franchise as Angelica, daughter of high seas villain Blackbeard. The flick is set for release in May 2011.

It turns out the longtime couple tied the knot earlier this month at a friend’s home in the Bahamas, Cruz’s rep confirmed to E! News Tuesday.

You’d think we’d have known, based on the sheer hotness that must have been radiating from the West Indies that day, but no.

Per Cruz’s rep, the bride wore a gown designed by pal John Galliano and only family members were in attendance at the small ceremony.

The Spanish-born beauty was the target of pregnancy rumors last summer, and we’re thinking she’s going to be either confirming or shooting down more of the same sometime soon.

Cruz, who counts Matthew McConaughey and Tom Cruise among her ex-beaus, started dating Bardem in 2007. She played his sexy-nutty ex-wife in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, for which she won an Oscar, a year after Bardem won his for playing the oddly coiffed killer in No Country for Old Men.

The following was reported by DNA India Times: Hollywood actor Penelope Cruz’s younger sister Monica, who is set to visit India soon to shoot a Spanish romantic comedy that will also see a release in our country (per the India source), is apparently learning Hindi to communicate well with the people.

Monica is also being guided by Penelope and their mutual friends who have visited the country before on the do’s and don’ts when the actress shoots on Mumbai roads. Monica, it seems, has deep respect for India and its culture and finds Hindi to be an incredibly sweet language. She is also very inspired by our nation’s history.

A highly placed informer close to the production of the movie says, “Monica is a thorough professional. She is doing her homework about India before she lands in the country for the shoot. She will have a to-do list with her. It was her idea that she should learn the basics of Hindi so that she will be able to converse with the locals at the shooting sets and even on the streets as she will be new to the place and clueless about roads and other important landmarks. She feels if she knows the language she will be at ease in a foreign land. Monica has never been to India and thus the excitement level is very high.”

The source adds, “Monica loves India. From the country’s heritage to its culture, she has been enticed by India’s richness and she is longing to see it through her own eyes. She has been briefed about where all to go and which places to visit. She is also an experimental person when it comes to food, so tasting Indian cuisines are very much on for her.”

Shopping too is on the cards. “We hear that her sister Penelope loves Indian elements in clothes and so she has also given her a list of the things that she can pick up from India. Monica too is looking to shop and will get time post the shoot to do all this. It seems her friends have also expressed what they want her to bring for them. Monica will definitely mix work with pleasure in India,” the informer says.

We learn Monica will however target seeing the North after making a quick visit to Mumbai. “She is very keen to tour the land and whatever time she will have, she will definitely look to spend visiting the Rajasthan forts, tour Delhi and thereligious places of significance. Even seeing the Taj Mahal is on the agenda for Monica,” the insider adds.
